Before joining Cornerstone, I held several positions on financial planning, tax, and compliance teams while serving as an officer at a large regional fee-only registered investment advisor. That experience gave me an excellent foundation, and I was thrilled to join Cornerstone in 2024 and continue working closely with clients to deliver truly personalized advice in a fiduciary environment.
I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and earned my bachelor's degree in Family Finance, Housing, and Policy from Iowa State University. What drives me in this work is empowering individuals and families to confidently navigate their financial situations. I believe the best outcomes happen when you pair expert advice with ongoing support and clear communication that actually enhances your understanding of the decisions you're making.
I serve clients through holistic financial planning, tax research, and analysis. Day to day, I prepare detailed planning recommendations and work directly with clients to implement the strategies we've agreed on together. I also support the firm's regulatory compliance and client service programs, helping make sure we maintain the high standards our clients deserve.
I live in southwest Iowa, where my husband Jon and his father operate a family farm. When I'm not spending time with family in Iowa, I'm often on a video chat with—or planning a trip to visit—my nephew in England. I enjoy baking and can regularly be found dreaming up home improvement projects.
